It is not often that cat adoptions can lead to the replacement of a unwanted hooman, but in this story one woman gets the courage to break up with her unempathetic partner thanks to the tiny kitten she decided to adopt against his wishes.

The world is a tough place, and navigating our way through life in it can be even tougher. But there is only one thing that truly matters, and that is whether or not you live your life your way, making your decisions and standing by them so long as they do you well. And that is the lesson that one single mother learned after she fell in love with a kitten and wanted to bring it home.

Her boyfriend at the time seemed to think that having said kitten would restrict his freedom, as though cats require their second favorite hooman to be anywhere near them. And it was this entitled and egoistic behavior which caused this woman to finally leave this man who was not worthy of her and live the life she deserves. A life that includes the cutest of kittens who now lights up each and every day of her life.
